The exhibition featured over 200 works
European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Communication Sciences opened another edition of its traditional student works exhibition at the entrance of the faculty. Various works created by students in the faculty’s practical courses were showcased for visitors to enjoy.
The exhibition featured a wide range of works, including basic art projects such as illustrations, photography, collages, and drawings, as well as publication projects like website and mobile page designs, interfaces, magazine, newspaper, and book designs. Additionally, communication-focused projects such as corporate identity and branding designs, posters, social media content, news, and advertisement applications attracted significant attention. Over 200 works from first-year to fourth-year students across various courses were featured in the exhibition.
In her speech at the opening, Assistant Professor Dr. Elif Atamaz, Head of the Visual Communication Design and Digital Game Design Department, emphasized the importance of displaying student works produced in the courses. Atamaz stated that such exhibitions increase sharing and interaction among students and that the works produced were prepared with creativity and dedication. She also highlighted that making the works available to the entire university, beyond the limits of the classroom, greatly contributes to students’ development and motivation. Atamaz added that these exhibitions are important for demonstrating the transparency of the applied courses and for ensuring that all students in the faculty are aware of the works produced by students in other classes and departments.
This exhibition, prepared collaboratively by the faculty members and students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, will remain open at the entrance of the faculty building until the end of the fall semester. Everyone with an interest in art and design is welcome to visit the exhibition.
