The EUL New Media and Communication Department has been accredited by AQAS.
The New Media and Communication program of the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the European University of Lefke (EUL) has been accredited by AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance), one of Germany’s leading accreditation institutions.
During the evaluation visit conducted at the European University of Lefke, the AQAS expert committee held separate meetings with the University’s Rectorate, the Dean of the Faculty, faculty members, stakeholders, and students to carry out the necessary assessments. AQAS, an authoritative and independent accreditation organization in its field, evaluated the program based on various criteria, including curriculum content and quality, faculty members, graduates, institutional environment, and quality assurance.
Following its evaluation, the committee concluded that the New Media and Communication program at the European University of Lefke met the required criteria. As a result of the successful evaluation process, the New Media and Communication program, which is taught in English and attended by students from various countries worldwide, was accredited by AQAS for six years. Prof. Dr. Elif Asude Tunca, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences at EUL, stated: “As the Faculty of Communication Sciences at EUL, we are delighted that our New Media and Communication program has been accredited for six years by AQAS, one of the leading international accreditation bodies adhering to European higher education standards and guidelines.
