Academicians of European University of Lefke Dr. Fazıl Küçük Faculty of Education Department of Special Education Teaching conducted a seminar titled “Personnel Training Seminars over 18 Years old Disabled Rehabilitation Centers” which was organized with the cooperation of the European University of Lefke (EUL) and T.R.N.C Ministry of Labor and Social Security Social Services Office.

In-service Training was offered to the Personnel working at the disabled Rehabilitation Centers for over 18 years

EUL’s academicians offered in-service training to the personnel working at the disabled rehabilitation centers for over 18 years located in Famagusta and Güneşköy on the following topics; Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Ataman on “Sexual Education for Individuals with Special Needs”, Assist. Prof. Dr. Gül Kahveci on “Teaching Social Skills to Individuals with Special Needs”, Academician Hatice Bilmez on “Coping with the Problematic Behavior of Individuals with Special Needs”.

At the end of the educational program, certificates were presented to the personnel of Social Services office who attended the training. Head of EUL Education and Research Center for Children with Special Needs (ÖÇEM) Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Ataman pointed out that aforementioned trainings were productive. She also expressed her gratitude for being able to contribute to the trainings organized with the cooperations of the European University of Lefke (EUL) and T.R.N.C Ministry of Labor and Social Security Social Services Office.
