Lateral and Vertical Transfers
Lateral or Undergraduate Transfers
All students studying at a university of an equivalent school may apply for a lateral transfer to the European University of Lefke. Applications will be taken into consideration by the university’s Student Affairs Office in line with rules and regulations set by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK)
Vertical Transfers
Students who have completed a 2 year program in a university may transfer to a 4 year program by passing the DGS exam conducted by the Turkish Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).
Exemptions: The course which students will be exempt from taking is determined by the executive board of the relevant departments.
Documents Required for Transfer Applications
- ÖSYM result sheet/placement document
- Student certificate
- Transcript
- A description of course undertaken
