“Planning and Conservation Management Congress” held at EUL completed with intense participation
Day 2 of the Planning and Conservation Management Congress which is organized by the European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Architecture Department of Architecture and which started on the 31st of October, Thursday is completed. The conference which stated at the Conference of Hall EUL Faculty of Law continued on the 1st of November, Friday with the opening speech of guest speaker Restoration Expert Master Architect Burcu İvedi Köksal and the presentations of 3rd and 4th groups.
In her speech which was based on the practical application of conservation-restoration projects in Turkey, Köksal touched upon Design and restoration process in practice, the limitations, descriptions and criteria of the cultural and natural heritage conversations in Turkey, what needs to be done for the smooth progress of restoration projects, Field studies and Surveying and the content of restoration projects. She also gave examples from the projects she conducted in Turkey.
After the opening speeches, “The Role of International Organizations in Cultural Heritage Management” titled topic was handled by the 3rd group;

After the 3rd group, 4th handled “Practices in Cultural Heritage Management in Northern Cyprus” in their presentations

The congress ended with a cocktail organized in honor of the participants.
