European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation held a seminar on “Physiotherapy in Palliative Care”.

Hacettepe University, Faculty of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation faculty member Prof. Dr. Filiz Can shared information about Palliative Care in the seminar.

Prof. Dr. Filiz Can emphasised the definition of palliative care and the individuals who need it and what the physiotherapist should pay attention to in the treatment program according to the needs of the individual. Thus, students were informed about palliative care treatment by learning the place of physiotherapy in palliative care and how to cope with the problems that may occur.

At the end of the event, which was completed by answering the questions of the participants, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Serpil Ünyayar presented a certificate of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Filiz Can and thanked her for her delightful presentation.
