Orientation Programs for New EUL Students Continue
An orientation program was held at the European University of Lefke (EUL) Cinema Hall to help new students in the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department and the Tourism Management Department within the School of Tourism and Hotel Management and the Culinary Arts and Pastry and Bakery departments within the Vocational School adapt to their programs and become informed about departmental operations.
During the event, Head of the Tourism Management Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mona Bouzari, and Head of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Meltem Köksal, each gave speeches. In their speeches, they highlighted the advantages that practice-supported educational programs offer students in their professional careers after graduation. Information was also provided about the university’s internship opportunities designed to reinforce students’ practical training. Additionally, the event covered important considerations for students to keep in mind during their studies, and questions from students were answered.
At the end of the event, students were offered products made by Gastronomy and Culinary Arts students in the EUL Gastronomy Kitchen, allowing them an opportunity to socialize.
