European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Health Sciences organized a conference themed “Nutrition Information System Application Programs”. Turgay Papakçı, Nutrition Information System Expert Advisor, attended the conference as a speaker. Nutrition and Dietetics students showed great interest to the conference.

Nutrition Information System was introduced

Giving information about the system, Papakçı said that BEBIS (Nutrition Information System Application Program) is as important as the handbook of the dietician candidates studying at the Department of Dietetics, Faculty of Health Sciences, and underlined that BEBIS application program provides convenience to those who use the program in various application areas related to dietary advice, menu planning, food analysis, research and education.

BEBIS program is handled as a course in all Faculties which include the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics

Pointing out that BEBIS program is accepted as a scientific data and is handled as a course in all Faculties which include the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics in all universities of Turkey and the T.R.N.C, Papakçı said that the Nutrition Information System Application Program will help students with what to consider when doing their lessons and research, and how to obtain accurate data results.
