“Medicinal Tea and Aromatherapy” workshop was held by the Faculty of Pharmacy
“Medicinal Tea and Aromatherapy” workshop was organised by the European University of Lefke Faculty of Pharmacy.
The following information was given about the workshop organised by the Faculty of Pharmacy: Pharmacy is the only professional group that receives training in medicinal tea and aromatherapy, phytotherapy and aromatherapy. Therefore, it is one of the primary objectives to train competent pharmacists in the field of Phytotherapy and Aromatherapy in Pharmacy faculties. In this context, a workshop was held both for our pharmacy students to prepare medicinal tea and aromatherapy one-to-one in practice and to raise awareness of our other faculty students.

Medicinal teas are those that are prepared by using plants or plant parts containing active ingredients that have therapeutic effects in eliminating complaints specified as daily discomforts, and are used as preventive, initially therapeutic or supportive of treatment. Medicinal teas with antidepressant effect were prepared within the scope of the medicinal tea and aromatherapy workshop, and an aromatherapy ointment with decongestant effect was also made.
