Students from EUL visited Kalkanlı Nursing Home in Seniors Week

Students of European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Social Services paid a visit to the “Kalkanlı Nursing Home” which is affiliated to the T.R.N.C Ministry of Health.

The students of EUL, who were welcomed with love, socialized with the seniors staying at the nursing home and created a loving environment. The students also received information about the services provided at the center.

The knowledge, skills and professional values acquired by the students during their education were integrated into the application field.

Giving information about the visit, Chairperson of Social Services Department Prof. Dr. Şengül Hablemitoğlu said that they especially wanted to do this visit which was conducted under the framework of Social Service Practices and Internship, on the 18-24 March Seniors Week. Hablemitoğlu also said that, with visiting a center which offers service to the seniors, students had the opportunity to integrate the knowledge, skills and professional values acquired during their education into the application field.
