‘Local Flavours’ day was organised at EUL
‘Magarına-Bulli’ was served to students on campus
As part of the European University of Lefke (EUL) ‘Healthy Living with Local Products’ days, ‘Magarına-Bulli’, which is unique to Cyprus cuisine, was presented to EUL students.
‘Magarına Bulli’ prepared by EUL Gastronomy Department Academicians and Gastronomy Department students was served hot to the students at the stands established on the EUL campus. The taste of the Magarına Bulli served at the stands, which attracted great interest throughout the day, was appreciated by the students.
Students who visited the stands within the framework of the event expressed their thoughts and said the following:
Ecem Cingöz: I am a 4th year student at the Department of Psychology. I like pasta very much. I liked the taste of the pasta served with Cypriot music. Thank you for this organisation organised by our university.
Maria Karimi: I am a 1st year student of Dentistry. The chicken was very good. We ate it with pleasure. I would like to thank my university for giving me the opportunity to taste the food belonging to the Cypriot culture.
Eldem Sukaya: I am a 2nd year student of Dentistry. I also participated in the orange day event last week. I liked the pasta and chicken we were offered this time. Thank you to everyone who contributed.
Begüm Su Sözen: I am studying at the Department of Nursing (English). It was a very nice event. I have never eaten it before. Thanks to our university, I had the opportunity to taste it. Thank you.
Ceren Küçük: I am a student at the Department of Nursing. As someone who lives in Cyprus and knows the beauties of Cyprus, I would like to state that I tasted this flavour, which I have tasted before and made myself, and I liked it very much. I recommend it to everyone.
Tuba Yavuztürk: This is the first time I have tasted it. Thanks to our university, I have tasted such a flavour. It was a nice meal, thanks to our Gastronomy Department students and professors.
