The “Program of Commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of the Khojaly Massacre” was held by the European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

The memorial program, which started with the realization of moment of silence and the National Anthem continued with a featured video footage of the Massacre of Khodja. Following the screening of short film and a documentary, the opening speech of the program took place by the Dean of Arts and Sciences Faculty, Prof. Dr. Saadettin Yıldız. Yıldız pointed out the meaning and importance of the day and gave detailed information about the historical events that took place at that time.

Head of Turkish Language and Literature of Arts and Sciences Faculty, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nazim Muradov, gave examples of similar events that have taken place throughout the history of the World in his speech, under the program.
