Three faculty members from the European University of Lefke (EUL) were included in the list of the world’s most active scientists for 2020, published by Stanford University in October 2021.

In the list of the most influential scientists in the world; It is seen that the researchers around the world who have published at least 5 articles in their field, are ranked in the first 2% of their branches in 22 departments and 176 sub-disciplines in total, in which criteria such as the number of scientific articles, the number of citations, the order of authors are ranked by using the composite indicator scientific impact index.

There are 1050 scientists from Turkish universities in the study, which was published in 2 different lists, as a career-long event and an event in 2020. EUL Engineering Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Ademgil took place in the field of Fiber Optic Technology and Telecommunication networks.

In the list of the most influential scientists of 2020, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Head of Banking and Finance Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Derviş Kırıkkaleli is in the field of Economics and Environmental Sciences and EUL Engineering Faculty Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samet Biricik has achieved a great success by being among the most influential scientists in the world by entering the 2% of the fields of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Energy.
