“How Should Today’s Sports Manager Be?” was discussed at EUL
European University of Lefke (EUL) School of Physical Education and Sports, Department of Sports Management, organised a conference on “How should today’s sports manager be?”. The conference held at EUL Cinema Hall was moderated by EUL academician Asst. Prof. Dr. Suphi Türkmen. Physical Education Teacher Metin Gezgin attended the conference as a speaker.
Gezgin, who worked as a sports education officer in the educational institutions of our country and as a sports administrator in different educational institutions in various countries and especially in METU, conveyed his experiences in these fields of work to EUL students in the form of parkavision and mutual interviews. Gezgin explained the topic of “How should a sports manager be today?” as follows: “It is to ensure the realisation of these activities by taking responsibility at the highest level in terms of the preparation of various sporting activities and competition venues such as competitions, camps, seminars, courses, symposiums, etc. A good manager should always be a person who shares his duties with his team and follows the given tasks.
The conference was attended by the school principal, heads of departments and students of teaching, coaching and management.
