European University of Lefke (EUL) organised a local products event at the EUL campus within the framework of ‘Healthy Living with Local Products’ days. Orange nets, the symbol of Lefke, were distributed at the event.

Fresh orange juices prepared by the students of the Department of Gastronomy were served to the students at the stands. In the event, which was highly appreciated, orange cakes prepared in the Gastronomy Department Practice Kitchen were also presented to the students.

Students who visited the stands within the framework of the event expressed their thoughts and said the followings

Meliha Bektaş: I am a 2nd year student of the Department of Dentistry. We would like to thank our university for offering us the freshly squeezed orange juice of the Lefke Region.

Mehmet Ali Akçil: I am a student of the Department of Physiotherapy. This is my 3rd year at EUL. Such activities of our university motivate us in our intense course tempo. We want such events to continue. Our difference is being from EUL. We support local products.

Murat Aksoy: I am a 3rd year Nursing Department student. I really like Lefke’s oranges. I started the day with orange juice and orange cake. Thank you very much to everyone who contributed to the event.

Grace Gwiza: I am a 2nd year student of the Department of International Relations. I am very happy to taste a product unique to Lefke.

Fatma Nur Kerküt: I am a 2nd year Psychology Department student. The cake made in the Gastronomy Department Practice Kitchen tasted like a mother’s cake, my friends and I liked it very much.

Anointing Amanambu: I am a 3rd year student of the Department of Nursing. It was a very nice event for us within the scope of Healthy Living with Local Products days. We had a healthy and enjoyable break between classes.
