EUL became the 2nd university with the highest number of student placements again

According to the 2024 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) placement results, EUL has added a new one to its achievements in recent years. EUL, where 2535 students settled, became the 2nd most preferred university in the Turkish Republic of Cyprus again.

European University of Lefke (EUL) Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen stated that the number of students who preferred EUL according to the 2024 placement results was 2535 and that the result obtained is a great success for the university.

‘One out of every 5 students coming to the TRNC will come to Lefke’

Yükselen expressed that the distribution of students who settled in TRNC universities according to universities has increased steadily over the years, and according to the results of 2023, 19.41% of the students who preferred our country preferred EUL, and this year this figure increased to 20.81%. Yükselen continued his words as follows: ‘One out of every 5 students coming to the TRNC will come to Lefke. Considering the importance of the development of EUL for Lefke and the region, this result is pleasing for both our university and our region.’

Yükselen pointed out that the European University of Lefke’s advanced infrastructure, qualified academic staff, numerous international accreditations, effective promotional strategies, scholarship and price policies, and student satisfaction-oriented studies have led to this successful result and drew attention to the importance of the sustainability of EUL’s success and rise. Yükselen also expressed his belief that the success achieved with the right strategies will continue steadily and concluded his words as follows: ‘We are proud to be the 2nd university with the highest number of student placements again. I would like to thank all our academic and administrative staff who contributed to this great success.’
