EUL Students Did Their Shares about Stray Animals
With the leadership of European University of Lefke (EUL) Office of Students’ Dean and EUL Paws Club advisor Assist. Prof. Dr. Azize Ummanel a fair titled “Helping Paws” was organized with the aim of helping stray animals.
Ummanel: The income obtained at the fair will be used for the needs of the stray animals
Giving information about the fair which took place at EUL Plaza, Ummanel said that “EUL Paws Student Club, aiming at the safety, nourishment and healthy living of the stray animals in and around the EUL campus, has arranged a charity for our cute friends,”. Pointing out that the income obtained at the fair will be used for the needs of the stray animals, Ummanel stated that since the day it was establish, the club have been aware towards the stray animals in and around the campus. Ummanel pointed out the aim of the fair which was organized with the contributions of board of directors and its members as, raising an awareness as well as making a contribution to the nutrition and sheltering of the strays and added that the income obtained at the fair will be used for the needs of the stray animals.
Seçil: Our aim is to protect our silent friends from any kind of danger
Head of EUL Paws Student Club Merve Seçil said that “We came together with our sensitive friends and established LAU Paws Club. We have carried out fair, hiking and various awareness activities for stray animals. We are in need of these kind of activities in order to get the veterinary expenses and sterilization works. Our aim is to protect our silent friends from any kind of danger”.
EUL academicians, staff and students contributed to the fair which included the sale of different products prepared by the students.
