European University of Lefke (EUL) The project titled “To Blue Hopes with Blue Covers” was carried out by the students of Dr. Fazıl Küçük Education Faculty Turkish Language Teaching Department.

The the project carried out by the EUL students Nezihe Petek, Merve Oruç, Neval Demirbilek and Nazlı Üçkaç were consulted by Asst. Prof. Dr. Anil Gorkem led the way.

The students, who gave information about the purpose of the project, stated that the project was a blue cap collection project prepared for the Cyprus Turkish Orthopedic Disabled Association and stated that they aimed to help people who need wheelchairs with this project.

Stating that they contacted the Municipality of Lefke for the blue cover boxes first, the students stated that they also made similar boxes, and then they sent the boxes to the busy places, school campus, dormitory entrances, etc. they stated that they were installed.

Sensitive students, who expressed that they want to contribute to the lives of individuals with walking disabilities by doing a favor, pointed out that it is important to use a waste that is insignificant for someone to meet the needs of another person.
