EUL Ranked in the 551-700 Band in QS WUR Rankings by Subject

The European University of Lefke (EUL) has been ranked in the 551-700 band worldwide in the 2025 QS World University Rankings by Subject, an international ranking announced by QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), a globally recognized institution that evaluates and ranks higher education institutions.
EUL Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen emphasized the significance of this achievement for the university based on QS’s 2025 evaluation and continued: “As a university, we educate graduates who can compete internationally, thanks to our highly qualified academic staff, well-equipped research infrastructure, and international accreditations across 32 different programs. According to the QS World University Rankings by Subject, which is internationally recognized for assessing and ranking universities worldwide, our university has been placed in the 551-700 band in Economics and Econometrics. This ranking, which includes some of the world’s leading universities, is a source of great prestige for our institution. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our Board of Trustees, academic staff, and administrative employees, whose dedication has contributed to this success.”
EUL Board of Trustees Chairman Enver Öztürk also commented on the achievement, emphasizing the importance of the university’s placement in the 551-700 band in such a prestigious ranking by QS. Highlighting that the results of the QS evaluation demonstrate that EUL provides education at an international and top-tier level, Öztürk stated: “This achievement has increased the international value of our graduates’ diplomas. I congratulate all our academic and administrative staff who contributed to this success.”
