European University of Lefke (EUL), Department of Horticulture has been accredited by AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Programs – Accreditation Quality Assurance Agency for Academic Programmes), one of the leading accreditation agencies in Germany.

AQAS expert delegation held separate meetings with the Rectorate, Dean of the Faculty, Head of the Department, Research and Application Farm Staff, faculty members, active and graduated students and external stakeholders during their two-day inspection visit to the European University of Lefke and made the necessary evaluations. As a result of the successful evaluation process, the Department of Horticulture of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies, the first faculty of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the field of agriculture, was awarded the accreditation certificate by AQAS (Accreditation Quality Assurance Agency for Academic Programmes) for a period of 6 years until 30 September 2029.

The accreditation process of the Department of Horticulture was successfully completed

In the statement made by EUL Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies; “We are happy and proud that our Department of Horticulture has received accreditation approval by an international organisation.
