European University of Lefke (EUL) English Language Teaching department graduate Volkan İner was deemed worthy of ‘Global Teacher’ award this year in the ‘Global Teacher Award’ competition, organized by 2021 AKS Education, to which many teachers from 110 countries applied.

The Global Teacher award is recognized as an organization that actively seeks to reach all corners of the world and defines and recognizes teachers who have contributed to their profession.

The ‘Global Teacher Award’ is known as a prestigious award that aims to identify teachers who demonstrate excellence in teaching different subjects, make outstanding contributions to students and serve the community by teaching even outside of their classrooms.

İner brings many teachers from different countries of the world together with the ‘ Teacher Talks’.

Volkan İner brings many teachers, trainers and important people together from different countries of the world due to the ‘Teacher Talks’ project which he has been carrying on during the pandemic and even today.  In these meetings, educators from different parts of the world share their ideas, the things they do, their understanding of education, their views on life and many more.

EUL graduate Iner emphasized that in these conversations he strives to conduce to both increasing international communication in every corner of the world and sharing the ideals of humanity in terms of universal values.  He also summarized his feelings about the award as follows; ‘ It is a great feeling to bring together this profession, which I have done with determination and love without giving up, with such a special award around the world.
