European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Dentistry has been established. The faculty will accept students starting from 2018-2019 Academic Year’s Fall Semester. Citizens of T.R.N.C and Turkish Republic will be able to apply to the department which is approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

Dean of EUL Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Bengül Yurdukoru pointed out the mission of the Faculty of Dentistry as providing proven teaching in national and international settings, being a faculty in the front lines of the graduates who have graduate degrees, to present advanced dental education and teaching information to the students, training successful dentists who are respectful of ethical values, successful, with high academic knowledge, critical thinking and scientific understanding.

Yurdukoru said that “EUL is experiencing the pride of establishing the 2018-2019 School year with its first dentist candidates”, and added that EUL will take its place among the advanced dentistry practices with its high quality laboratories and clinics which are under construction.

The Faculty of Dentistry offers the opportunity of experiencing efficacious practices in the small classes.

Giving information about the feasibilities of the Faculty of Dentistry which offers the opportunity of experiencing efficacious practices in the small classes, Yurukoru pointed out that the faculty consists of Preclinical Laboratories, Phantom Simulation Laboratories, Plaster Laboratories, and Dental Treatment Clinics. Yurdukoru stated the Dental Treatment Clinics also have the major branches of Oral Surgery – Implantology, Pedodontics, Oral Radiology – Oral Examination, Dental and Implant supported prosthesis, Endodontics, Orthodontics.

Yurdukoru said that “Nowadays we have set out for education and training of dentistry, we have an academic staff who has a place in the field, a foundation for rapidly progressing dentistry science, and a national and international academic career”, and added that the students will gain abilities and knowledge at the basic medical sciences simulation and technical equipped laboratories providing preclinical training with dental knowledge.

Yurdukoru said that students will have the opportunity to work extensively with our education, which is accredited by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). We believe that our graduates will step into their professional lives as competent dentists who have high confidence in their dentistry profession with theoretical and practical dentistry, advanced communication and empathy skills, professional and universal ethical values”.
