EUL Civil Engineering students are preparing for the sector by practicing in modern laboratories
European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Engineering Department of Civil Engineering Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ertuğ Aydın stated that the students’ practice studies in the laboratories continue in the face-to-face lessons in the new academic term and gave information about the projects carried out in the laboratories.
Stating that the application works, which were suspended due to Covid-19 in the fully equipped Civil Engineering Laboratories, continue rapidly in the new period, Aydın stated that the students are allowed to make one-to-one applications in the laboratories and that they examined all the engineering properties of the composites they designed from the wastes in the graduation projects. Stating that thanks to the studies, students are trained as experienced individuals in the sector by practicing the knowledge they have learned in theory, Aydın said that such applied projects have a positive effect on the success of the students.
Aydın stated that the practices carried out in order to ensure that the students of the Civil Engineering Department of the European University of Lefke receive the necessary equipment and training before they graduate, will continue uninterruptedly.
