Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Ademgil, Prof. Dr. Derviş Kırıkkaleli and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yaşlı from the European University of Lefke (EUL) were included in the list of the most influential scientists of 2022. The current version of the “World’s Most Influential Scientists” list, prepared in cooperation with the United States of America (USA) Stanford University and Elsevier B.V., one of the world’s most prestigious publishing houses, has been published. In the 2022 list of the most influential scientists, Prof. Dr. Derviş Kırıkkaleli, Head of the Department of Banking and Finance, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, managed to enter the top 5 thousand in the field of Economics and Environmental Sciences. EUL Faculty of Engineering Dean Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Ademgil, in the field of Fibre Optics Technology and Telecommunication networks, and Faculty Member Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yaşlı, in the fields of Optoelectronics and Photonics, have achieved a great success by being among the world’s “Most Influential Scientists”.

On the other hand, the ‘Career Long Impact List’ was also published as a result of the studies of scientists throughout their academic careers.  Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Ademgil and Prof. Dr. Derviş Kırıkkaleli managed to be among the most influential scientists worldwide throughout their careers.
