EUL Academician Ülker’s Article published in Sage Publications known for its Prestigious Journals in many fields
European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Engineering Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Academician Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülker made a precious publication on the subject of “Lecturing in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering”.
The International Electrical Engineering Education Journal of Sage Publications, which is known for its prestigious journals in many areas in the UK, has published Ülker’s article titled “‘Antennas and Propagation Course in Education’ which is about how to explain the theory of antenna theory, which is considered difficult and complex theory inn the Department of Electrical Engineering, should be explained to students more efficiently.
Ülker analyzed how antenna and wave propagations can be explained to the students in a more effective way
In his article which has been published in journal which is an educational journal in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering started to be published in 1963 and which examines the innovations in Electrical Engineering education and new experiments that should be used for education, Ülker analyzed how antenna and wave propagations can be explained to the students in a more effective way.
Ülker: This article can be used as a guidance
Giving information about his study, Ülker pointed out that, he has given a place to the concepts of how to cover this topic, which experiments should be conducted apart from theoretical and mathematical information and how the students should design antennas. Ülker stated that, in the evaluations made after the students received this information, the students’ levels of reaching the desired program outcomes were measured and as a result of these measurements it was revealed that the course was successfully transferred to the students. Ülker said that the main emphasis of the article is that there is not a common consensus in the world in the teaching of the course, and the course is not taught with all the information required because the course is sometimes very theoretical, sometimes very mathematical and sometimes very experimental and added that this article can be used as a guidance in explaining antenna and wave propagations to the students all over the world.
