EUL Academician Ataman was awarded the 2021 science award
European University of Lefke (EUL) Special Education Teaching Department Head Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Ataman was awarded the 2021 Science Award by Gaziantep Young Businessmen Association (GAGİAD).
EUL Academician Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Ataman won the award in science at the traditional GAGİAD award ceremony organized by Gaziantep Young Businessmen Association (GAGİAD) to reward the success of individuals, institutions and organizations that make a difference and set an example in the society.

Dr. Ayşegül Ataman has many books in the fields of special education, educational sciences and psychology, and many articles, papers and research projects in the fields of special education since the 1970s.
Ataman, who trained students with the first teaching program that trains Special Education Teachers, also took part in the establishment of ÖÇEM (Children with Special Needs Education Application and Research Center) in EUL, as well as training teachers in this center, providing guidance, application and training to all children with special needs in the TRNC. It also contributes to research.
