“Cyprus Culture Night” held at EUL
“Cyprus Culture Night” and “North Cyprus Familiarization Trips” were organized by European University of Lefke (EUL) Students’ Dean Office and Directorate of External Relations under the framework of 2017-2018 Spring Term orientation week. Several facilities were conducted in the organization held at EUL.
Local dishes of Cyprus attracted great attention
During the Cyprus Culture Night organized under the framework of orientation program, newly enrolled students had the chance get adapted to the school and to get informed about the Cyprus Culture. In the organization, dishes unique to Cyprus culture were served and Cyprus Folk Dances were performed by Lefke Municipality Folk Dance Group. “Pitcher Dance” which is unique to Cyprus attracted great attention and the students accompanied the dance. While the organization continued with cultural music specific to Cyprus, students from various countries of the world also participated in the program with their cultural music’s.
Historical and Cultural places were visited
Under the framework of North Cyprus Familiarization Trips, Soli Ruins, Lefke Lake, Cengiz Topel Statue, Lefke City Center and Güzelyurt Region in Lefke Region, Büyük Han in Nicosia region and Harbor and Kyrenia Castle in Kyrenia region were visited.
