European University of Lefke (EUL) School of Physical Education and Sports organized a congress themed “Congress on Problems of Sports”. Sports professionals expert in their fields participated and shared their experiences in the congress which was held at EUL Rauf Raif Denktaş Conference Hall.

President of School of Physical Education and Sports Prof. Dr. Caner Açıkada, said that “I would like to thank everyone who has participated in the first congress of the School of Physical Education and Sports newly established by EUL”.  Açıkada pointed out the aim of this congress as making a new start and added that the speakers from different parts of the world will share the knowledge and the experiences with the participants.

Problems of sports in Cyprus from past until today were handled in the panel which was moderated by President of School of Physical Education and Sports Prof. Dr. Caner Açıkada and which was participated by President of TRNC Prime Ministry and Department of Sports  Alkan Demiroğlu, Vice President of TRNC Football Federation Orçun Kamalı, and Ex-deputy and Sportsperson İltaç Karayel.
