“Communication and Music” was discussed in the “Communication Days” event series organized by the EUL Faculty of Communication Sciences
Within the scope of the “Communication Days” event series organized by the European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Communication Sciences, 2018 O Ses Turkey winner Lütfiye Özipek was hosted. Özipek gave a talk on “Communication and Music” in the event.
Lütfiye Özipek, who studied pop music and songwriting in England and won the first place in the 2018 O Ses Türkiye competition, talked about her music career and the communication she established with her audience through music.
Expressing that she always wanted to be in a one-on-one communication with the audience and to sing while looking into the eyes of the audience, Özipek stated that she chose to become a singer while planning her career, and advised the students to become the person they really want to be. Özipek stated that it is very difficult to plan a career and that although there is little support on this path, one will find his/her own way somehow.
Lütfiye Özipek, who stated that she started her music career with opera education but always wanted to make pop music in her heart, said, “Unfortunately, young people who want to make music in our country are not guided enough. “We have to find our own way,” she said.
Lütfiye Özipek, who also gave the good news of a concert in the interview, said, “We are now entering a process where we will start concerts. We look forward to meeting with every listener who loves and is curious about us, and we are working hard.”
Lütfiye Özipek, in the talk themed “Communication and Music” held as part of the EUL Communication Days event series; also talked about her new projects and answered intense questions. The event ended by EUL Faculty of Communication Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Elif Asude Tunca’s presentation of certificate of participation to Özipek.
