Children’s book donation from EUL Academic Atamaz to Kemal Saraçoğlu Foundation
The book When Boncuk Becomes A Street Cat was prepared on child development
European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Communication Sciences, Head of Visual Communication Design Department Assist. Prof. Dr. Elif Atamaz donated the children’s books “When Boncuk Becomes a Street Cat”, which she wrote and illustrated, to Kemal Saraçoğlu Foundation member children and their families.
Transferring her views on the subject, European University of Lefke Communication Sciences Faculty Visual Communication Design Department Head Assist. Prof. Dr. Atamaz said:
“My book ‘When Boncuk Becomes a Street Cat’, is a book prepared by considering the development of children between the ages of 6-9 who are just starting to read. This work, which is a storybook, actually emerged from my doctoral studies. As soon as my book was published, I donated all usage rights to Kemal Saraçoğlu Foundation, completely free of charge, without any expectation of profit. ”
Also, Atamaz stated as “We academicians do not only teach at universities, we shed light on the society and set an example with our behaviour. With such a donation, I was proud to be a part of a social responsibility project. I invite everyone to be more sensitive to organizations and associations working for the benefit of society in our country. “Even a small donation can make a lot of sense” .
The book, which draws attention with its paintings and is thought to be read by children, can be purchased from Kemal Saraçoğlu Foundation.
