Cengiz Topel Industrial Vocational High School Visited EUL Child Rights Exhibition
The Children’s Rights Exhibition, prepared by the students of the European University of Lefke Preschool Education Department within the scope of Child and Media course, was visited by Cengiz Topel Industrial Vocational High School. Different dimensions of child rights violations were discussed in the exhibition organized as part of the 20 November World Children’s Rights Day. Within the scope of the project, primary school students’ ‘What kind of a world do we want to live in?’ While the themed paintings were included, attention was drawn to the floor painting works carried out in some regional schools.
Child Development and Education 12th grade students showed interest in the exhibition
Cengiz Topel Industrial Vocational High School Child Development and Education 12th grade students visited the Children’s Rights Exhibition accompanied by their teachers Gökçen Özakdenizli and İçim Açıksöz. The exhibition was participated with interest by the students. Asst. Prof. Dr. Azize Ummanel said in her statement, “It is thought that such activities increase the interaction with the regional schools and lay the groundwork for the activities to be carried out by both institutions for cooperation. Participating in activities organized by universities, especially in high school age, is thought to be effective in matters such as career choices and career developments of high school students.
