European University of Lefke Dr. Fazıl Küçük Faculty of Education was accredited by the ‘Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs – EPDAD’, an autonomous and competent institution in Turkey, following the online and face-to-face evaluation process between March 18 and 21, 2023.

EUL Faculty of Education achieved accreditation for all its departments

Prof. Dr. O?uz Serin, Dean of Dr. Fazıl Küçükk Faculty of Education, who gave information about the successful accreditation process, emphasized that the vision of the EUL Faculty of Education, which is the only faculty in the TRNC that has achieved the success of being accredited with all its departments among the Faculties of Education, has been documented and approved.

Serin stated that the ‘Primary Mathematics Teaching’, ‘Preschool Teaching’ and ‘Turkish Language Teaching’ departments of EUL Dr. Fazıl Küçük Faculty of Education have been accredited until 2026, and that the accreditation period of the ‘Special Education Teaching’ and ‘English Language Teaching’ departments has been extended until 2026 and completed to 5 years. In this context, Serin pointed out that together with the previously accredited ‘Guidance and Psychological Counselling’ and ‘Classroom Teaching’ departments, all 7 programs of the EUL Faculty of Education have been accredited and said, “We would like to congratulate all our academic, administrative, and managerial team who contributed to the accreditation of all departments of the EUL Dr. Fazıl Küçük Faculty of Education; we would like to express our determination to ensure quality assurance in higher education.”
