All Aspects of the Role Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in a pain-free life handled at EUL
The congress had been concluded with the intense participation of speakers, guests and students
3rd National Congress on Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation organized by the European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and Turkish Cypriot Association of Physiotherapists between the dated of 6th – 8th December 2018 concluded with the intense participation of speakers, guests and students.
The subjects were handled with all aspects and scientifically discussed
The congress which was held in the charge of Rector of European University of Lefke Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen and with the common leadership of Assist. Prof. Dr. Gülbin Ergin and Prof. Dr. Nuray Kırdı, was held at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Law of EUL. Prof. Dr. Uğur Cavlak, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serkan Bakırhan, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nuray Elibol, Assist. Prof. Dr. Beliz Belgen Kaygısız, Expert. Physiotherapist. Beraat Altuğ and Expert. Physiotherapist. Gölgem Mehmetoğlu were in the congress’s regulatory board.
All Aspects of the Role Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in a pain-free life were handled at the congress. In the 6 sessions of the congress there were 32 speakers including speakers from the Hacettepe University, Dokuz Eylul University, Karadeniz Technical University, Kirsehir Ahi Evran University, Pamukkale University, Gazi University, Nuh Naci Yazgan University, Eastern Mediterranean University, Kyrenia University, Cyprus International University, Near East University and Ankara Acupuncture Center. Subjects such as “Physiology of Pain, Pain Assessment, Quality of Life in Pain, Causes and Definition of Pain in the Rehabilitation of Different Diseases, Pharmacological Approaches in Pain Management, Electrophysical Agents, Acapuncture Treatment, The Role of Pain Exercise Approaches, Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Approaches in Acute and Chronic Pain, Evidence-Based Current Literature in Pain Conditions Screening, Pain-Case Report in Different Disease Groups, Interdisciplinary Pain” were handled with all aspects under the framework of these sessions. In the third day of the congress, workshop program on the subjects of “Pediatric Pain and Physiotherapy, Geriatric Rehabilitation, Matrix Rhythm Therapy, Osteopathic Approaches in Painful Patients and Writing Scientific Articles” was held.
3rd National Congress on Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation organized by the European University of Lefke was concluded with the participation of 316 guests and students including 86 from the European University of Lefke, 68 from the Eastern Mediterranean University, 61 from the Cyprus International University, 40 from the Near East University, 16 from the Kyrenia University and 45 as the guest participants.
