Announcement to the students who has not registered their Mobile Devices yet
Documents Needed for On-campus Registration Procedures
Students who need to register their mobile phones within the the establishment of “Mobile Phone Registration Unit” of the Northern Cyprus will have the opportunity to complete all Registration formalities on campus. You may find below details of the set up.

For International Citizens:
- Petition (can be obtained from the MDRS Registration Unit
- The IMEI device to be registered by the MDRS
- Original passport
- Photocopies of the passport (2 (two) copies)
- Original student certificate or a valid student ID card
- Copies of the student certificate and the student ID card (2 (two) copies)
- Devices with technical suitability will be subject to a registration fee. Please note that cash payments will not be accepted at the registration unit. Payments can be made via a bank card.
Those students wishing to pay in cash may pay the specified amount at the banks specified below after having found about the technical suitability of their device at the MDRS Registration Unit, to which the receipt of payment should be submitted.

EXPLANATION: MDRS DEVICE REGISTRATION
Upon the completion of the procedures at the MDRS Registration Unit, all relevant documents and receipts are given to you, but at this point, the registration process regarding your device has not yet been completed.
As the next step, you are expected to go to the closest Customs and Taxes Department (available in every city or on campus) together with the documents you received from the MDRS Registration Unit and pay the customs tax specified for your device. The following should be presented at the Customs and Taxes Department during payment:
- IMEI device under registration
- Passport
- Documents taken from the MDRS Registration Unit
As the final step, you are expected to take all documents obtained from the Customs and Taxes Department following your payment and receipts taken from the MDRS Registration Unit to one of the North Cyprus Turkcell or Telsim member registration centers within the city or on campus and complete your registration, accordingly. If you fail to present the stated documents at the member registration centers, your registration will not be finalised.
