Special Education Teaching
The aim of the program is to train specialist teachers in the field of special education; to conduct scientific researches in the fields of individuals with developmental disabilities and their education; to produce information, to develop scientific-based training strategies; to train qualified staff and to extend the usage of these production services globally.
The students will have the following qualifications; developing the data in the field with original approaches and /or researches; establishing relationships between various disciplines, education fields and subfields; reaching unique results by using expert knowledge in analyzing, synthesizing and evaluating new and complex ideas; approaching systematically to the new data within the field; developing a new scientific method which brings innovation or applying a known method to a different field, conducting a unique research, designing it and putting it into practice; being able to conduct analysis, synthesis and evaluation of new and complex ideas; making contribution to science via developing a new scientific method which brings innovation or applying a known method to a different field
Program consists of 7 courses, a qualification exam after the completion of the courses, a seminar and a thesis.
The medium of the program is Turkish.
