The European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Architecture and Design organized a workshop as part of the orientation programs for new students.

The orientation program, titled “Seniors Welcome Freshmen/The Joy of Design,” was organized to introduce new first-year students to the faculty and, more importantly, to the profession.

As part of the workshop held in the backyard of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, first-year students participated in a design activity aimed at introducing them to the profession. Senior students were also included in the workshop to share their experiences with the first-year students.

In the design workshop, the new students were provided with materials and were asked to create a spatial design as part of their first design experience at the faculty. Senior students accompanied the first-year student groups and shared presentations and discussions of their jointly prepared designs, concluding the workshop.
