64th Nigerian Independence Day held at EUL
A programme was held at the European University of Lefke (EUL) on the occasion of ‘Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day’. The event, organised by the Centre for Social and Cultural Activities and the International Student Club Nigerian Students Community, was held at EUL Cinema Hall. EUL Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Carolina Smochina, Prof. Dr. Oğuz Serin, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Ademgil and many students, especially Nigerian students, attended the programme.
Nigerian students came together
In the programme, which was held with intense participation, students gave information about the history of the establishment of Nigeria and made speeches indicating the meaning and importance of the day. Stating that they were happy to come together on Nigeria Independence Day, the students expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed to the organisation.
