‘Career Day’ was organised at EUL
European University of Lefke (EUL) Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts organised ‘Concorde Hotel Career Day’. Concorde Hotel’s Assistant General Manager Mert Türkoğlu, Restaurant Manager Sedef Çelik Pala, Restaurant Manager Alper Er, Front Office Manager Pınar Gümüşay, Head Chef Nisan Özkaya, Assistant Head Chef Bayram Kara and Training Staff Nilay Şener attended the Career Day event as speakers.
Students who had the chance to meet with sector representatives within the scope of the career day had the opportunity to get information about many issues such as the benefits of doing internships and professional working conditions. Students also had the opportunity to learn about the different departments of hotel businesses and to connect with professionals.
At the end of the event, Head of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Meltem Köksal thanked the participants who answered the questions of the students for the valuable information they provided.
