European University of Lefke (EUL) Dr. Fazıl Küçük Faculty of Education Special Education Teaching Department student Saliha İşcan carried out the ‘Lefke Flavour Tour’ project.

Within the scope of the ‘Community Service Course’, İşcan, who directed her project under the guidance of Hasan Karlıtaş, President of Lefke Tourism Association under the supervision of Lecturer Naziyet Mercan Bozok, explained that the ‘Lefke Flavour Tour’ project is a study prepared with the insight and perspective of a student.

İşcan stated that the project provided an idea about the restaurants and cafes around the region and the university to fellow students. In her 5-week project, İşcan stated that she investigated the places, the names of the places, the general characteristics of each of them, and the food, and also compiled photographs of the dishes she tasted in the places. İşcan, who turned the information she prepared as visual content into a magazine, also stated that she created a link on the internet.
