A conference on “Experiences of a Pharmacy Pharmacist” was organized by the European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Pharmacy with the participation of the invited speaker, the owner of Lefke Altıncı Pharmacy, Pharm. Çağın Altıncı.  Altıncı, who shared his experiences and insights with the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, emphasized the importance of the pharmacist’s communication and relationship with the patient in his speech. Altıncı touched on the issues that pharmacists should pay attention to while advising their patients, and gave examples of how they can act in such situations encountered in their pharmacy based on their experiences.

In addition to the pharmacist-patient relationship in the pharmacy, Altıncı also mentioned the importance of the pharmacist’s relationship with the doctor, other health professionals and the health authority, and talked about the problems related to drug supply and shipments that may occur in the pharmacy. In addition, Altıncı also shared his emotional, funny, etc. memories he encountered in the pharmacy and made recommendations to the students by mentioning that everything is just beginning after graduating from the Faculty of Pharmacy and that as a pharmacist, one should continue to improve oneself continuously.

After Altıncı’s speech, students asked questions about Pharmacy Pharmacy and the conference ended after the questions were answered.
