A seminar titled ‘User Analysis in Interior Design’ was organised at EUL Faculty of Architecture
European University of Lefke Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design organised an event titled ‘User Analysis in Interior Design’. The event, where interior architect Nermin Gündoğdu was the invited speaker, started with the opening speech of the Head of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Damla Mısırlısoy. In the event, Gündoğdu shared her practical experiences about interior architecture with the students.
Interior Architect Nermin Gündoğdu emphasised the importance of understanding the user profile in the discipline of Interior Architecture and continued her words as follows; “User analysis in interior design involves examining the behaviour, preferences and needs of the people who will use the space. It helps designers understand how individuals interact with their environment. It also plays a guiding role in making layout, furniture selection, lighting and other design decisions. Designers should shape the design of the project by taking into account the demographic characteristics, lifestyle, cultural infrastructure and needs of the users.”
Gündoğdu continued her speech by sharing her application project examples with the students. The event, which continued with the question and answer section, was completed with the interactive participation of students and faculty members.
