The exhibition of student works opened at EUL
The exhibition, which included more than 200 works, attracted great interest
European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Communication Sciences, 2023-24 academic year, autumn semester, 2023-24 spring semester, student works produced in applied courses were exhibited at the entrance of the faculty.
The exhibition, which was opened, mainly included the works of the students of the visual communication design department. In the exhibition where more than 200 works were exhibited, the works of all students from first to fourth year in different courses; The exhibition, which was compiled from graphic design projects as well as artistic skills such as illustration, collage, photography, attracted great attention.
Prof. Dr. Elif Asude Tunca, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, addressed the students and emphasised the importance of sharing the work exhibited in the courses with the university and thanked the students and their lecturers for their work. Tunca emphasised in her speech that in the new digitalised world, it is still important to exhibit the works face to face with the print.
In addition to the Dean’s speech, Asst. Prof. Dr. Elif Atamaz stressed the importance of honouring the efforts of the students in the courses with the traditional faculty exhibitions and thanked the university for giving them this opportunity. Atamaz expressed that with these student work exhibitions held every semester, all students within the faculty have the opportunity to get to know each other and other application courses, and hoped that new events and exhibitions will be organised in the future for the continuation of this unity and solidarity.
The exhibition at the entrance of the Faculty of Communication Sciences will remain open until the end of the spring term.
