Fatih Ceylan, former permanent representative of the Republic of Türkiye to NATO, held a conference at EUL
“Being a Diplomat in International Organisations” was discussed
European University of Lefke (EUL) Department of International Relations organised a conference on Being a Diplomat in International Organisations.
Fatih Ceylan, retired Ambassador Fatih Ceylan, who served as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Türkiye to NATO between 2013-2018, held a conference at EUL as a guest of the EUL Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Relations.
Fatih Ceylan held a presentation on the establishment phase of NATO and the function it assumed after the end of the Cold War. Ceylan also provided information on how it is possible to work in international organisations and what kind of career path students should follow at this stage.
Ceylan concluded the conference by answering the questions of the students and stating that the subtleties of being a diplomat should be well understood.
