Many activities are organised by student clubs at EUL
A series of activities are organised throughout the year by the student clubs affiliated with the European University of Lefke (EUL) Social and Cultural Activities Centre. The clubs, which organise various activities in order to make use of students’ free time, carry out many activities such as sports activities, trips to historical places, exhibitions of local dances, and country introductions.
In this context, the Nutrition and Dietetics Club organised a yoga activity accompanied by yoga instructor Pınar Tulay and provided information about yoga suitable for all levels.
The Cute Paws Club organised a cinema night to instil animal love and collect donations for our animal friends. The film Hachi: The Story of a Dog was screened, and the charity event drew attention to animal love.
The Chess Club organised a trip to Lefke Horse Farm in order to ride horses, play chess, socialise, and get in touch with nature. During the trip, students enjoyed playing chess in an open-air environment among the natural beauties of Lefke.
Students came together at the sketching activity organised by the Architecture and Design Club and worked on determining the theme of nature and what it evokes. In addition, a film titled ” The Abstract Thought: The Art of Design” was screened by the club and a cinema event was organised that appealed not only to architecture students but also to their friends from other departments.
