European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Arts and Sciences students organised an “Environmental Cleaning Event”.

Cengiz Topel Monument coastline was cleaned

In the event organised to draw attention to the fact that environmental cleanliness is very important for the health of humans and other living things, faculty members and students collected the garbage scattered along the coastline of Cengiz Topel Monument.

After completing the environmental cleaning activity at the weekend with intensive student participation, the students drew attention to environmental cleanliness with the visuals they shared on their social media accounts in order to raise environmental awareness.

The trash collected at the end of the event was taken away by Lefke Municipality officials.
