European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Pharmacy 1st Alumni Meeting was held at the Faculty of Pharmacy Practice Pharmacy with the participation of graduates, 5th year students, and 1st year students. Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Şermin Tetik, Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Mevhibe Tamirci, Faculty Member and Head of the Alumni Organising Committee Asst. Prof. Dr. Najat Abubakar and Lecturer Dr. Fezile Özdemir attended the meeting.

After Abubakar’s opening speech, the 5th year pharmacy students who will graduate at the end of the 23–24 Spring and Summer semesters took the floor to convey the purpose of the meeting and their plans after graduation. 1st year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy were also invited to the meeting to be informed about the field of pharmacy and career opportunities.

After the 5th year students’ speeches, Özgür Karataşlı and Rewan Khafaga, graduates of the 21-22 Academic Year Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty assistants, shared their post-graduation experiences with their friends and stated that they plan to continue their professional life as academicians and therefore continue their Clinical Pharmacy doctoral programme at the university.

Afterwards, Berke Ali Semerci, one of the graduates of the 22–23 Academic Year Faculty of Pharmacy, stated that he worked as a freelance pharmacist after graduation and at the same time continued his doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences at our University, and Farah Bousrour shared her experiences with her friends that she continued her professional life as a freelance pharmacist in France after graduation and shared the experiences she gained during this process.

After the speeches of the students, the meeting ended with a cocktail at the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Pharmacy, with the participation of students and faculty lecturers.
