European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Dentistry Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Sevi Burçak Çehreli contributed to a chapter of the book titled Integrated Clinical Orthodontics, published by WILEY Blackwell International Publishing House and included in the Text Book.

In the book, which includes scientific contributions from leading international authors in the field, it presents orthodontic problems in an interdisciplinary context to explain how the potential complexity of dental problems, patients’ medical histories, and many other factors contribute to orthodontic outcomes. The second edition has been expanded with new chapters and completely updated.

The book chapter, co-authored by EUL Academician Prof. Dr. Sevi Burçak Çehreli and Neslihan Arhun, Ayça Arman Özçırpıcı, Kamran Gülşahı, and Ömür Polat Özsoy, covers the prevention methods of dental caries that can be seen during orthodontic treatment in children and adolescents and their treatment methods with current methods. In addition, hygiene recommendations for oral care and protection against dental caries during orthodontic treatment were also written in the book chapter.
