European University of Lefke (EUL) Faculty of Pharmacy organised a conference on “Pharmacists, Pharmaceutical Industry is Waiting for you”. Eastern Mediterranean University Faculty of Pharmacy Faculty Lecturer Asst. Prof. Dr. E. Vildan Burgaz attended the conference as a speaker.

“Pharmacy graduates have a very important place in the Pharmaceutical Industry”

Burgaz, in her speech titled “Pharmacists, the Pharmaceutical Industry is Waiting for You” organised by EUL Faculty of Pharmacy, started by describing her experiences while working in a pharmaceutical company and then emphasised that Pharmacy graduates have a very important place in the Pharmaceutical industry and that pharmaceutical companies can work in many departments, especially in the Research and Development (Synthesis, Analytical, Formulation) departments.

Finally, Burgaz emphasised in detail the departments where pharmacists can work in the pharmaceutical industry and which qualifications are required for these departments. Burgaz concluded his lecture with answers to the questions of the students.
