A Great Success from EUL Department of Tourism Management
The Department of Tourism Management of the European University of Lefke (EUL), School of Tourism and Hotel Management has achieved a great success by being accredited for five years by the Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Sciences, one of the Higher Education Quality Institutions.
The accreditation process is a process that aims to improve the quality of educational institutions within international standards. The AHPGS Accreditation Evaluation Committee met separately with the Rectorate, School Director, Head of Department, faculty members, external stakeholders and students during the evaluation visit and made evaluations. As a result of the evaluations made by the AHPGS Evaluation Committee, visits to the university and the facilities where the students of the Department of Tourism Management practise, the European University of Lefke Department of Tourism Management met the necessary criteria. As a result of the file review and face-to-face interviews, AHPGS Expert Reports were submitted to the department and the department was accredited for five years until 30 September 2028.
In the statement made by the School of Tourism and Hotel Management; it was stated that “Accreditation means improving academic quality, quality assurance of the education programme by an international organisation, transparency and accountability. It is also of great importance for the sustainability of quality in education. The accreditation certificate officially proves that the Department of Tourism Management meets high quality standards. Thanks to this important achievement, the recognition of our college in the national and international arena will give a new impetus to our school”.
