European University of Lefke (EUL) the Departments of Architecture and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design have been accredited by AQAS (Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Programs), one of the leading accreditation agencies in Germany.

During the two-day inspection visit to the European University of Lefke, the AQAS expert delegation held separate meetings with the Rectorate, Dean of the Faculty, Heads of Departments of the relevant programmes, faculty members, stakeholders and students and made the necessary evaluations. As a result of the successful evaluation process, the Departments of Architecture and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design of the Faculty of Architecture and Design were awarded the accreditation certificate by AQAS (Agency for Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education) for a period of 6 years until 30 September 2029.

It was stated in the statement made by the Faculty of Architecture and Design of EUL: “As the Faculty of Architecture and Design, we are happy and proud that our Departments of Architecture and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design have received accreditation approval by an international organisation. We would like to express our gratitude to the entire university administration, especially our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen, EUL Accreditation Committee Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ertuğ Aydın, our academic and administrative staff for their devoted work, our students who actively participated, our stakeholders, and our graduates who supported us in the accreditation process.”
